My Baby Allyson came home with her wonderful husband and my namesake Julianne!

Let me tell you how much I loved having my daughter home. I love to watch Allyson and Rodney interact as a couple. It proves to me that God gives us beauty from ashes. I praise God for the spiritual growth I see in their lives, much more than I see in people who go through no rough times. I love watching how Rodney cares for our baby Allyson! This is what Daddy saw from the very first time he met Rodney, and that was all I needed. Rodney, thank you for being my best youngest son-in-law! As you keep Christ first you will see Mark, Taylor and Julianne grow healthy and strong too. Thanks for coming, sorry we had to work! Julianne is an absolute doll, we will miss her!

Messenger

Well it is time to write because I have something to say. I have had one dragging week! Questioning everyone's spirituality. Why? Because we were thrown out in the end. Did we ever do anything good for the Lord at CCS? Did we accept low pay to accomplish nothing? Is Don James right, we are worthless? Is CBC and CCS full of people playing a game of what? Those thoughts were looming this morning when I was lecturing when in my door stood a messenger from God, looking at me and not saying a word. I went to him and he told me how much Daddy and my ministry affected he and his wife. He said we were the reason that they had their child in the school. Thank you God for giving me a visable gift at a bad time. The alumni was Rex Brooking.

Grandpa & Grandma stopped by the cops!

Ok we were taking the van over to school to park it in the lower lot last night kinda late. We had signs plastered all over the van "FOR SALE" so it would be there during the Fun Fest. A lady cop is in the driveway as they usually are. She followed us back up to center of the lot and got out, while dad was securing signs in van I got out of the car and talked to her. I said we've worked here for 28 years and are dropping off the van for the festival tomorrow. She said well she just had to check that the cars weren't stolen or anything. We laughed. She drives to the back of the lot to wait till we leave. I go into CCS just to prove I work there. As I am coming out she rolls up (Dad is back in the regular car that I was driving and now he is behind the wheel) and asks me is that Ron driving the car. I said yes. She said she sees that he has surrendered his license so he shouldn't be driving. I said he was driving the bus for the school to a retreat and it caught fire and he did not want to drive the bus but the school would make him as long as he had a CDL so he turned it in. So she looks at her computer again and says "oh sorry it looked like a regular license was surrendered ( like in a dui, your dad has never touched a drop)! So again the Bedfords are humiliated! Hope you enjoyed this very true story read only here on my blog. Enjoy the pic of the week. Love, Mom

Daddy's got a real job!

Well it appears that Dad has a job! Praise Our Awsome God! He will be teaching at Southwestern College in the Computer Dept. It has been very emotionally exhausting for us both and I was a bit tentative this week-end to feel joy. But make no mistake I am very happy for this job and I think it is a perfect fit for Daddy. The gas will be a bit much while he is part time. But I feel he will get more classes b/c he has always been an excellent teacher, kind and patient. My son however, is not a teacher, he almost chocked me trying to teach me the computer 14 years ago! Well it is 1:30am so I guess I stayed up long enough to take a nap in service tomorrow. Love to all, check out my pic of the week, love, mom

After a good night's sleep!

Well after thinking on it last night I decided to remove the post. Lets just say I was tired and vented. I am taking a Beth Moore Bible Study and it is teaching me alot, about how forgiving is for my health and by forgiving, it is not saying that what was done was right.

Pooped!

Worked like a dog all day and came home and had to listen to Dad whine about passing 2 kidney stones during the day!!!!!!!!!!!! I said now can you listen to my probs, I was initiated into M/S, a 7th Grader hurled in class. She said she didn't want to waste a walking around point on puking! I told them many times, illness does not use a point. She didn't listen! Walter cleaned it up spotless in 2 mins. Anyway dad is ok, pray he stays that way. Microwave is broken! No job, and so the Bedfords go on. Thanks Dr. J Love, Mom

School starts! At least for teachers.

What a summer, no, what a horrible end to school. Now I must face the? My beloved is at home. I got to read on my backyard swing a little. But alas, school and new beginnings are sure to come. God always has us on a great adventure.
